The under 7's finally got their season under way with a trip down the A34 to Abingdon

1st game Abingdon 2-1 OCC

Team:Joel Garden, Luke Martin, Lewis Downie, Tadhg Al-Hassan,Xavier Gill,Denzal Katito Sam Harris

A very nervous start saw us undone by two one on ones, however the boys never gave up and battled to the end improving as the game went on.

Second game Abingdon 2-1 OCC

Team Joel Garden, Luke Martin(Lewis Downie H-T), Kyle Howkins, Jake Lyne-de Fraine, Tadhg Al-Hassan(Denzal Katito H-T), Adeel Hussain, Xavier Gill(Sam Harris H-T).

We were 2-0 due to individual mistakes at the back however the boys never gave up and in the second half Denzal Katito picked the ball up on the half way line beat three players at drilled the ball into the far corner of the net. this was the pick of all the goals scored in both games.

Even though we lost both games the boys (some who had never played before) can be proud of their performance. I am sure that as the season goes on we will improve and it will not be long before we get our first win.
